Stages of a Food Coma:
1. Eating a large amount of cooked food with a lot of carbs in it, such as potatoes, pasta, rice, and heavy, creamy sauces.
2. Feeling really tired
3. Not moving, or completely unable to move. Number one excuse- you're digesting! It's a fact that it takes longer for the food to digest when you've consumed large amounts of carbo hydrates or meats. (it's not abad thing, just a fact).
4. Falling asleep or hours of the day pass with out moving much because you are in food coma dome
5. Waking up, or slowly moving and finding that you are hungry again.
6. Let's eat ;)
Advice:
You can relieve the food coma by eating less or slower. I know it's hard because the food is just so tasty and you don't want to waste anything.
*If you eat more leafy greens with your food then you have a higher chance of not entering into a food coma.
*Snack or balanced meals- make for a more balanced person!
* Food comas can be simular to a sugar crash, if you find yourself in one, watch a movie or read a book or conversate, there can be some fun interesting converstaions that go on during a food coma!
